Dale Bills : Director of Public Relations, City Creek ReserveCity Creek is a sustainably designed, walkable urban community of residences, offices and retail stores under construction on approximately 20 acres across three blocks in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. Upon project completion in 2012, the city will be one of few in the nation with a vibrant, mixed-use development at its core. City Creek is an integral part of broad revitalization underway in the central city – including expansion at the Gateway, relocated educational facilities at the Triad Center and the new 222 Main office tower – all working together to create a vibrant and attractive downtown. Developed by City Creek Reserve, Inc., an affiliate of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the project includes strategic partners Taubman Centers, Inc., a leading developer and operator of innovative retail environments and Harmons Grocery Stores, a Utah company. Dale will be giving a presentation on the construction progress of the City Creek project in downtown Salt Lake. During the past 16 years, he’s worked in various public affairs assignments for CCRI’s owner, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including ten years as a media spokesman.Before coming to Salt Lake City, Dale was vice-president and assistant to the CEO at Univisión, a national Spanish TV network based in Miami. Early in his career, Dale was with Hallmark Cards in Kansas City where he held positions in marketing, strategic planning and new business development.
